Phase 5 Β· Scale Traffic β€” Instagram, TikTok & Beyond Β· ⏱ 25 min

The Reddit Playbook

β–Ά {{VIDEO: lesson 5-4 β€” Owen & Cole}}Video drops in here. Everything below stands on its own.

When you're done

Her first Reddit post will be live in a community that actually fits her β€” correctly labeled, rules-compliant, pointing traffic the right way. And you'll have the five-community shortlist that makes every future post a repeat, not a gamble.

Why this matters

Reddit is the highest-intent traffic in her world β€” people there are actively looking for exactly what she posts, which is why it's often her fastest-converting channel. It's also the only platform where the rules are local: every community writes its own laws, enforces them with human moderators, and bans first, explains never. The playbook is simple β€” fit, rules, contribute, then post β€” and following it is the entire difference between Reddit being her best channel and her shortest experiment.

The steps

  1. Build the five-community shortlist. Start from the Subreddits Cheat Sheet ({{ASSET: cheat sheet in Downloads}}), then verify each candidate yourself β€” fit beats size, every time: does her exact content type already succeed there? Are AI creators welcome (some communities are AI-specific β€” those are gold; some ban AI outright β€” those are off the list, no exceptions)?

  2. Read the rules like they're the law, because there they are. For each shortlisted community, read: the rules sidebar, the pinned posts, and the top posts this month. Record in the workbook: allowed content types Β· required labels/flairs (AI-generated, NSFW) Β· account requirements (age/karma minimums) Β· link policy (many allow profile links but not post links β€” the traffic path is usually post β†’ her Reddit profile β†’ hub link).

her Reddit profile is the funnel, not her posts. Hub link in the profile bio, posts clean of links entirely. Interested Redditors click profiles β€” it's the native behavior, and it's ban-proof.

  1. Contribute before promoting. A few days of normal behavior first: upvote, leave 3–5 genuinely useful or funny comments in the shortlist communities. Reddit accounts with zero history posting content get filtered automatically and mistrusted humanly. (This runs inside the daily ten β€” Reddit joins the platform rotation.)

  2. First post, done exactly right: pick the single best-fit community Β· a keeper that matches what succeeds there β€” feed-tier keepers only β€” everything spicy stays behind the Fanvue paywall on Reddit exactly like everywhere else (6-2 formalizes this as the content ladder) (premium content lives behind the Fanvue paywall, never on socials, and Reddit is a social) Β· an original title in the community's native style (read ten top titles, write hers to belong β€” wit where wit wins, plain where plain wins; never clickbait) Β· every required label applied β€” the AI-generated flair always, and the NSFW flair whenever a community requires it even for suggestive/bikini-level content. No exceptions, ever. Post at a time the community is active. Then stay for an hour: answer comments like a person.

  3. Track and repeat. The tracker gets a Reddit row: upvotes and comments are the platform score, but profile visits β†’ hub taps β†’ new Fanvue followers remain the only numbers that pay. One post per community per week at most (Reddit is the one deliberate exception to daily volume β€” it's a frequency-sensitive surface where restraint IS the strategy) β€” Reddit smells frequency-farming instantly. Rotate the shortlist; double down where the numbers say so.

AI prompts for this lesson

Copy these into your AI assistant when you want a hand. They know this lesson.

Here are the top 10 post titles this month from [subreddit name]: [paste them]. Decode the title conventions (length, tone, structure, emoji use), then write 5 title options for my creator's post β€” [describe the image] β€” that belong in this community. Original, native-sounding, zero clickbait.

Do it now

~25 minutes + a few contribution days already running via the daily ten.

You're done when

One correctly-labeled post is live in a verified community and its result is in the tracker. Reddit is now in the rotation β€” the fast-twitch channel, on a leash.

If you're stuck

The post got removed / she got banned from a community

Read the removal reason, honestly β€” it's almost always a missed rule, and it's recoverable: apologize to the mods once politely if it was a genuine miss, or just move down the shortlist. One community's ban means nothing; the shortlist is five deep for exactly this reason. (Sitewide bans are different β€” those come from label violations. That's why labels are non-negotiable.)

Which is better: AI-creator communities or general niche ones?

AI-welcome communities convert better per viewer (zero deception distance β€” everyone knows and likes what she is); big niche communities have more raw eyeballs where allowed. The shortlist should hold both; the tracker decides the winner in her case.

Comments are brutal / people are mean

Reddit's love language is bluntness β€” expect banter and don't take bait. Answer the good-faith comments in her voice, ignore the rest, never argue. An account that argues becomes content; an account that's charming becomes a regular.

Can I cross-post the same image everywhere at once?

Reddit specifically hates it β€” and duplicate-detection is real. Same keeper, different communities, different native titles, spaced across days. It's five minutes of extra work that keeps the whole channel alive.

Next up

The biggest one left: TikTok β€” the volume engine β€” plus Threads riding along, and the starting gun for the First Month Challenge, the discovery engines β€” and the traffic empire is complete. Lighter-touch lesson; the system does the lifting by now.
