Viral Research & Remix

β–Ά {{VIDEO: lesson 3-5 β€” Owen & Cole}}Video drops in here. Everything below stands on its own.

When you're done

You'll have the research system that ends guessing forever: a living swipe file of proven content, a 15-minute daily scan that feeds it, and her first remix β€” a viral format remade with her face, her scenes, her voice, using the studio's own tools. From today, research is the first block of every working day.

Why this matters

Here's the doctrine from 3-0, now with teeth: research beats imagination. Every niche's feed is a free, real-time report on what audiences want this week β€” and most creators scroll past it and then sit down to "brainstorm." Winners do the opposite: they treat every scroll as intel, collect what's overperforming, decode why, and ship their version while the format is still hot. The AI advantage stacks on top: a human creator who spots a winning format needs a shoot to copy it; you need a generation. You can out-ship the person who invented the format.

One line before the tools, and it's the line that keeps her accounts alive: patterns are free; posts are property. You will remake hooks, structures, formats, scene types β€” never re-upload, never trace a specific creator's recognizable content, never touch paywalled or leaked material. Inspired, never copied. It's in the rules below and it is not negotiable.

The steps

  1. Build the swipe file (one-time, 20 minutes). A single note or board (workbook page, saved-collection, whatever you'll actually open daily) with three sections β€” IG, TikTok, X. Seed it now: - Study these accounts first β€” the ones we point every student at: {{COPY: swipe-list β€” 2–3 winning AI-creator / agency accounts per platform β€” Nick to supply}} - Add three accounts in her niche, each 5–20Γ— her size (big enough to prove demand, small enough to be relevant). - From each, save outliers only: posts doing clearly outsized numbers versus that account's own normal. (2k-average account with a 40k reel = outlier. A million-follower account's million views = Tuesday.)

  2. Decode before you save β€” three notes per outlier, or it doesn't go in the file: the hook (what the first second shows/says) Β· the structure (what happens, in what order) Β· your one-line theory of why it worked. An outlier without notes is a bookmark; an outlier with notes is a weapon.

  3. The daily 15 β€” the first block of the Daily Stack, every working day: - 10 minutes: scan your swipe accounts + each platform's discovery surface (IG Reels/Explore; a TikTok For-You feed; X's trending in her niche). One honest note on timing: today only her X exists β€” build all three sections anyway and scan IG/TikTok logged-out or from your personal account; 5-1 and 5-5 give her real accounts, and 5-5 sets up a clean TikTok research login that makes this scan dramatically better. - Save and decode 1–3 new outliers. Kill stale ones β€” formats age out in weeks. - Pick today's patterns: the 2–4 formats today's production batch will remake. Write them at the top of the day's workbook entry. Production never starts without this list β€” that's how the factory stays aimed at proven demand instead of guesses.

  4. Remix with the studio's three tools β€” this is where the magic is. Take today's strongest pattern and remake it as hers:

Tool What it remakes How
More-Like-This (3-3) A winning image style of your own Multiply the keeper that matches the pattern into a set
Scene swap (v-1) A scene/composition type Feed a generic reference of the scene idea β†’ she steps into it, outfit and setting intact
Reel Studio (3-2) A winning motion format She performs a template/source motion that already works β€” the closest thing to a "make her version of this reel" button

Same hook mechanism, same structure, her face, her voice, one variable adapted to her persona. (When the Premium Studio comes online after this phase, Inspire joins this table for premium content β€” finished renders with their full settings attached, remixable with her character. Same doctrine, spicier catalog.)

  1. The three rules, out loud, every time the reference is another creator's content: - Generic and structural only. A beach-sunset pose, a gym-mirror setup, a hook formula, a caption structure: fine. That creator's signature setup, unique location, distinctive styling: off limits. The test β€” would someone see hers and think of theirs? Then no. - Never re-upload or trace. Her version is always a fresh generation in her scenes. Re-posting someone's actual file β€” even edited, even credited β€” is theft and a ban. - Never paywalled or leaked content as reference. Not even "just for the pose." That's someone's paid product.

  2. Close the loop. Every remix gets one line in the workbook after 48 hours: pattern β†’ her numbers β†’ keep riding it or kill it. Patterns that hit get run again with one variable changed (the one-variable discipline 5-2 will sharpen for IG). Your swipe file slowly becomes the most valuable asset she owns: a private database of what her audience provably wants.

AI prompts for this lesson

Copy these into your AI assistant when you want a hand. They know this lesson.

Here are today's decoded outliers: [paste hooks/structures/theories]. My creator: [persona sheet]. Pick the 2 patterns that fit her best. For each: the exact hook for HER, the studio recipe to produce it (cards or reference type + which tool β€” More-Like-This / Scene swap / Reel Studio), and a caption in her voice. Flag anything that risks crossing from pattern into copying a specific creator's recognizable content.

Do it now

~20 minutes today; 15 minutes daily forever.

You're done when

The swipe file exists with decoded outliers in it, her first remix of a proven pattern is in the Library, and "daily 15" is written into the Daily Stack. You will never sit down to a blank "what should I post?" again β€” that question is now answered by the market, every morning.

If you're stuck

I can't tell an outlier from a normal post

Divide by the account's typical numbers, not absolute ones. Anything 5Γ—+ that account's normal is an outlier. If you can't see typical numbers, scroll their last 15 posts β€” the outlier is visually obvious.

My remix feels like a knockoff

Check which layer you copied. Pattern-layer (hook mechanism, structure, scene type) = correct. Content-layer (their setting, their styling, their exact framing) = too deep; re-run it one layer up with her persona driving the specifics.

The pattern works everywhere β€” do I remake it for each platform?

Yes, and it's cheap: same generation, platform-native caption and crop. That's how one pattern becomes 3+ pieces of the daily batch. The platform lessons handle the per-platform dressing.

How many patterns should I be riding at once?

2–4 live patterns, refreshed as they cool. Fewer and you're under-testing; more and you can't read what's working.

Next up

Phase 3 complete β€” the engine runs on proven demand. Factory built, formats mastered, calendar automated, research feeding it all daily. Before traffic: one detour that changes her economics β€” the Premium Studio, where the content her ladder will actually sell gets made.
